1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using Testpartout, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. What Testpartout currently provides

Testpartout provides browser-based device diagnostics and human-performance tests. Device tests help you inspect hardware behaviour; human-performance tests measure reaction, typing, clicking, memory and aim. The tests run locally in your browser.

The service currently requires no account and does not store test results on a server. Personal bests, where available, are kept in your browser's local storage on your own device. Workflow checklists also keep local statuses, not a hardware-health score. Optional result cards are generated locally and may be sent to an external app only when you choose to share them.

3. Measurements and their limitations

Automated measurements use standard browser APIs such as performance.now(). Some device tests instead rely on your visual inspection. Browser measurements have technical limits and depend on your device, operating system, browser, display/refresh rate, input hardware and background processes. Device diagnostics are not manufacturer-grade hardware certification or a definitive hardware diagnosis.

Human-performance results are informal browser measurements for personal reference, not laboratory-grade or universally comparable assessments. No test is a medical or clinical measurement. Do not use results to diagnose, treat or monitor any health condition, and do not rely on them for competitive or employment decisions.

4. Your responsibility when interpreting results

You are responsible for how you interpret and act on your results. Testpartout provides observations, measurements and explanatory content, but it cannot know your environment, physical state or purpose. Treat device results as diagnostic clues and human-performance results as informal self-measurements, not authoritative certification or scores.

5. Service availability and changes

Testpartout is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service, any test or any page at any time, without notice.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Maintenance, browser updates or third-party infrastructure issues may affect availability or behaviour.

6. Intellectual property and site content

Unless otherwise stated, original content and design made available on Testpartout are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party software, libraries and other materials remain subject to their respective licences and rights.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

abuse, harass, disrupt or damage the service or its infrastructure;
launch automated attacks, excessive requests, or attempts to overwhelm the site;
scrape or crawl the site in a way that harms service availability or performance;
interfere with the site's scripts, measurements, security or other users;
use the site for any unlawful purpose.

We may restrict access if we reasonably believe these rules are being broken.

8. Third-party infrastructure

The site is served through hosting infrastructure that may process technical request data — such as IP addresses and request logs — as necessary to deliver pages to your browser. Testpartout does not control that infrastructure's internal logs.

9. Changes to these terms or the service

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of Testpartout after changes means you accept the revised terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
