Testpartout is a collection of Human Performance tests that run entirely in your browser. Each one measures how you interact with your device, and every number comes with a description of how it was produced.
What Testpartout is
Testpartout is a testing platform. Today it publishes Human Performance tests that measure how you interact with your device: reaction time, typing speed, clicking speed, memory and aim.
The tagline is the product: “Test your device. Test yourself.” The same browser session holds both the instrument and the subject, and Testpartout treats both honestly.
Browser-based testing philosophy
Every test runs locally in your browser using standard web APIs. There is nothing to install and nothing to configure. This makes the tests instantly accessible anywhere, and it also defines their limits: a browser measurement reflects your browser, your device, your display and your input hardware at that moment — not laboratory conditions.
Each test page documents how its measurement works and where its limits are, so you can judge a number in context instead of trusting it blindly.
Human Performance tests available now
The first published part of Testpartout is the Human Performance section. These tests are live today:
- Reaction Time TestMeasure how fast you respond to a visual cue, in milliseconds, across repeated attempts.
- Typing Speed TestWords per minute, accuracy and mistake patterns over a timed typing passage.
- Click Speed TestClicks per second over a fixed interval, with consistency across attempts.
- Visual Memory TestRecall increasingly complex patterns to measure your visual memory span.
- Sequence Memory TestRepeat growing sequences to find the longest order you can hold and recall.
- Aim / Accuracy TestHit targets under time pressure to measure accuracy, hits, misses and time-to-target.
Transparent methodology, honest numbers
A measurement without a method is just a number. Every Testpartout test page includes a methodology section describing what the code actually does, plus a list of the limits of a browser measurement. The same transparency extends to the platform level on the Methodology page.
Testpartout does not publish fabricated benchmarks, population averages or percentiles. Where no real aggregated data exists, no comparison is shown. Your results are your own measurements — not invented rankings.
Privacy-first by construction
Testpartout currently has no accounts and no test-result backend. Measurements are computed on your device and personal bests are kept in your browser's local storage — they are not uploaded. The details are described in plain language on the Privacy page, which states what the code does today rather than promising what a policy might say.
