What happens to your data on Testpartout

This page describes the current behaviour of the product — what the code does today, not what a policy might promise. Last updated: September 2026.

The short version

Testpartout currently requires no account, runs its tests locally in your browser, and does not intentionally upload your test results anywhere. Personal bests are stored in your browser's local storage, on your device, and you can remove them at any time by clearing your browser storage.

Current behaviour, in detail

  • No accounts. Testpartout does not currently require or offer user accounts. You can use every live test without signing in.
  • No test-result backend. There is currently no server-side database for test results. Results from the live tests are not intentionally uploaded, transmitted or stored on Testpartout servers.
  • Local personal bests. Where a test keeps a personal best, it is saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. It never leaves your browser, and clearing your browser's site data removes it.
  • No global ranking database. No global ranking, leaderboard or benchmark database currently exists, and no result of yours contributes to one.
  • No advertising. No advertising — including Google AdSense — is currently active on this site, and no advertising cookies are set by Testpartout.
  • No product analytics. The application does not currently include a product-analytics system, and it does not track how you use the tests.
  • Permissions. The tests currently live do not request microphone or camera access. Nothing on this site asks for those permissions today, and future tests that require them will say so explicitly at the point of use.
  • Hosting infrastructure. Like any website, the hosting infrastructure that serves these pages may process technical request and connection data — such as IP addresses and request logs — as necessary to deliver the site to your browser.

Your control over local data

Because the only data Testpartout keeps about your testing lives in your own browser, you hold the delete button. Clearing your browser's site data or local storage for this site removes every stored personal best, with nothing left on any server because nothing was sent to one.

If the data practices of the product ever change, this page will be updated to describe the new behaviour before or when it ships.
