What happens to your data on Testpartout

Current behaviour, in detail

• No accounts. Testpartout does not currently require or offer user accounts. You can use every live test without signing in.
• No test-result backend. There is currently no server-side database for test results. Results from the live tests are not intentionally uploaded, transmitted or stored on Testpartout servers.
• Local checklist progress. Full Device Check and Video Call Check save only simple statuses and a preset in versioned local storage. No test measurement is copied into these checklists. Reset clears progress; blocked storage leaves current-page progress only.
• Optional result sharing. When you explicitly share or download a human-performance result card, the PNG is generated locally. Testpartout does not upload the score or card first. A device/browser share sheet sends your chosen card to the external app you select. Copy result text and Copy Summary use the clipboard only after your action. Results are not placed in URLs or metadata, and result values, workflow statuses and search query text are not sent to analytics.
• Local personal bests. Where a test keeps a personal best, it is saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. It never leaves your browser, and clearing your browser's site data removes it. Optional sharing of a completed result is a separate explicit action.
• No global ranking database. No global ranking, leaderboard or benchmark database currently exists, and no result of yours contributes to one.
• No advertising. No advertising — including Google AdSense — is currently active on this site, and no advertising cookies are set by Testpartout.
• Analytics with consent. The site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-WFLHPE2J3T), but only after you accept analytics. Before acceptance the Google Analytics script is not loaded at all, and no analytics cookies or analytics storage are enabled. If you choose “Accept analytics”, Google Consent Mode is set with analytics storage granted while all advertising storage and advertising features stay disabled. If you choose “Reject”, analytics is not initialised on later visits while that choice remains stored. Ignoring a first-visit banner does not load analytics; returning visits follow your previously stored choice. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage and you can change it at any time with the “Analytics preferences” link in the footer.
• Results are never sent to Google Analytics. Consent-based usage events may describe a test starting or completing, permission being granted or denied, and ordinary non-result interactions. Actual test measurements, scores, outcome classifications and personal-best values are not sent to Google Analytics. Microphone audio and webcam video are not sent to analytics either.
• Permissions. The tests mostly need no special device permission. Microphone Test requests microphone access only after you explicitly start it; Webcam Test requests camera access only after you explicitly start it. Permissions are handled through standard browser APIs. Microphone audio is analysed locally and is not recorded or uploaded. Webcam video is displayed locally and is not recorded, saved or uploaded. Streams and tracks are released when the test ends or you leave its page.
• Hosting infrastructure. Like any website, the hosting infrastructure that serves these pages may process technical request and connection data — such as IP addresses and request logs — as necessary to deliver the site to your browser.
